BlendTec doesn’t miss an opportunity
BlendTec made a huge success with their “Will it blend?”-series. And, they don’t miss an opportunity when they see one. With all the buzz around the iPad, they got what they wanted.
As always, using current events is a good starting point for a viral clip. So far, the iPad - Will it blend? has [...]
Service is (almost) all it takes
I recently visited Trinidad & Tobago. I love to travel, for more than one reason. Besides vacation, new experiences and meeting new people I also almost always get business ideas. Things missing in Sweden, or things that are missing in whatever the place I am visiting. It is also very interesting to test service levels. [...]
Viral marketing - Guest lecture at Berghs - School of the Year
This Friday I spent the afternoon away from the day to day business of JMW, and once again gave a lecture about viral marketing at Berghs School of Communication, the world’s best communication and advertising school.
The last time I was there, things had just started moving for businesses offering services around viral marketing, like seeding [...]
This is what I write about
I haven’t gotten a tag cloud here, but this is what I write most about. And it’s built not just from the tags I use, it’s from all the words on the blog. Generated from wordle.net.

United Airlines in trouble
I’m back from vacation, going through my reader, and as I still haven’t gone through it all, this might be repetition for some. Sorry about that.
From what I’ve noticed, United Airlines is in trouble, as they break guitars. Dave Carroll, disgruntled customer, and singer in Sons of Maxwell, spent nine months trying to get compensation [...]
A great day!
Today was a great day!
After a nice day at work, I went to Daytona Sessions, and listened to, Morris Packer, Katarina Graffman (from Inculture) and Umair Haque (also at Bubblegeneration). A very interesting afternoon, which also included the announcement of the blog awards YABA. After blogging on this blog since early October I am [...]
A chance to make up for a forgotten Valentine’s gift
There is still some time left, so if you want to do something extra, if you don’t have time, or if you actually end up fouling up, forgetting all about it until it’s almost too late, here is a chance to make it up for Valentine’s. It might not get you entirely out of trouble, [...]
Effects of a blog award
Something got me thinking this Monday.
Some weeks ago Swedish digital communications agency Daytona announced a blog award with the following three categories:
Marketing (Marknadsföring)
Media (Media)
Trends & Web Services (Trender och webbtjänster)
As previously mentioned, this blog was nominated in the marketing category, which I think has been very inspiring.
On Monday, the voting started, with the twist [...]
I just have to post this!
This is a brilliant ad for Heineken, which has gone viral since launch late in December. So far, about 1,116,103 views, and at least 260 (including this one) blog posts about it, according to Viral Video Chart.
Brilliant!

Burger King’s most interesting viral campaign so far!
During the last couple of years Crispin Porter + Bogusky has delivered several interesting campaigns for Burger King. Several of them have gone viral, including Subservient Chicken, Whopper Freakout, Sith Sense and Whopper Virgin (read more about BK advertising).
A very interesting, and insightful, recent campaign is the Whopper Sacrifice. A lot of Facebook users [...]
