Do the right thing, and money will follow

I couldn’t agree more actually. Check out the post on Brains on Fire - Do the right thing.

Short quote:

“…Purpose-driven companies do the right thing and sales is a byproduct of that mission.

You shouldn’t get into social media to make more money. You should get into it only if you can do right by your customers. Your fans. Your employees.”

It’s nothing new, but worth repeating over and over again. Actually, I wonder if you should do anything (not just get into social media) to make more money. You should always do the right thing though, and money will follow.
